Trust/Link SSL
Small organisations often prefer to purchase SSL certificates as they are needed. However, larger organizations want to balance control and flexibility in their use of SSL certificates across business units and locations.
Trust/Link SSL meets the needs of those companies by enabling centralised procurement of SSL for better pricing and reporting, while retaining the distributed request and management of certificates by departments. The secured web-application allows the allocation of roles and groups and offers all needed tools for the certificate lifecycle management.
Trust/Link SSL allows clients to request that organisations and domains be pre-verified for their account. Thereafter, clients’ authorised personnel may approve certificate requests for straight-through processing without QuoVadis intervention.
With Trust/Link SSL, the following certificate types can be issued
- SSL certificates for the internal use
- trusted Businesss SSL for external use
- EV SSL (Extended Validation SSL) for the highest Standard
The secure, web-based Trust/Link administration allows administrators to manage certificates with the use of predefined options like registration, key generation, issuance and revocation. Additional administrators with less rights can be defined to support a decentralized organization structure in a secure and efficient way.
