EV SSL: How does Google Chrome react to EV SSL certificates?
A:
When Google Chrome encounters a valid EV SSL certificate, the URL Bar turns yellow.
The Word "https" at the beginning of the address turns green.
On the right side of the URL bar, a padlock is indicated and the certificate owner is shown in green color.
A click on the name of the certificate owner (right side) shows more detailed information about the certificate issuer and the certificate owner.
The certificate check has been successful. The green "OK" sign will be shown.
If the certificate is invalid, the URL bar stays white.

A:
If Firefox 3 encounters a valid EV SSL certificate, a green certificate field on the left side of the address bar indicates the certificate issuer and certificate holder.
A click on the green certificate field shows more detailed information about the certificate issuer and certificate holder.
If Firefox 3 encounters an invalid EV SSL certificate, the content of the page is blocked for the time being.
A warning message is shown in the browser window.
