Business SSL Certificates

The Business SSL Certificate is issued to a specific and a specific domain address.

For the issuance, a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) must be created on the server. CSR instructions may be found here.  The standard term of the certificate is 3 years.

Business SSL certificates may be issued by QuoVadis Registration Authorities (RAs) or using Trustlink SSL.

If you require multiple SSL certificates under the same domain, we provide wildcard certificates (such as *.domain.ch).  We also issue certificates with multiple domain names using the SAN field.

The issuance of the certificate requires the following documents:

• Completed and signed application form
• Copy of passport or ID of the Authorising Person(s)
• Certified copy of a corporate registration

Companies and organisations which apply for multiple Business SSL certificates may use a simplified signup procedure:

• Completed and signed application form 
• Copy of passport or ID of the Authorising Person(s)
• Certified copy of a corporate registration
• Completed and signed application list for multiple URLs
